Why This Programme

Knowing you are right rarely moves an organisation. This programme trains the gap between the two.

Regulatory specialists, managers, and senior executives at licensed communications providers can usually analyse an issue correctly. What separates the ones who shape outcomes from the ones who simply file a correct finding is a different skill entirely: reading the room a decision will actually be made in, and building a position that survives scrutiny before it ever leaves the building.

A technically correct finding that nobody acts on changes nothing. This programme is built around what happens after the analysis is done, when a real position has to be formed, tested, and defended, on a live issue, in front of people who will push back.

Participants work through realistic regulatory scenarios across the programme, applying the same thinking method they will use on their own issues afterward, without needing to bring confidential company information into the room.

Who It Is For

A development programme for the next generation of regulatory leadership.

Regulatory Specialists
Practitioners with a solid grounding in regulatory analysis who are ready to start building the strategic layer on top of it.
Regulatory Managers
Practitioners who already handle regulatory analysis well and are ready to build the strategic layer on top of it.
Senior Regulatory Executives
Executives developing toward regulatory leadership, who need to move from being right to being followed.
The Format

A practical framework. A room that pushes back.

1.5 Days · Small Intake, Capped at 10The Strategic Regulator

Built around the Northbridge Regulatory Positioning Framework (NRPF), a repeatable thinking method participants practise until it holds up under real pressure.

  • Realistic practice, not theory. Exercises are built from real regulatory scenarios, close enough to what participants actually face to test the thinking, without requiring anyone to share confidential company information.
  • A live challenge session. Selected participants present their worked position to the full room, and it gets pressure-tested in real time.
  • Leave with a method, not just notes. A repeatable framework participants can apply to their own issues the moment they are back at their desk.
What You Leave With

Beyond the finding.

The ability to read what a regulator or policymaker is actually signalling, before they say it outright
A repeatable method for turning a correct analysis into a position the organisation can act on
The confidence to hold a position when the facts are incomplete and the room pushes back
A repeatable method for building a regulatory position, ready to apply to your own issues immediately after the programme
